Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Tejashwi Yadav and the Leader of the Opposition in the Assembly alleged that hundreds of businessmen were being killed in Bihar, but we cannot call it “Jungle Raj”. Former Deputy Chief Minister Yadav also questioned the law and order situation and said, “A main businessman of Bihar was shot dead at a few steps from the police station in Patna!”
Tejashwi Yadav wrote in Hindi on ‘X’, “Hundreds of traders are being killed every month in Bihar, but we cannot call it Jungle Raj? Because it is called media management, perception management and image management in the scriptures.”
Earlier today, RJD leader Mrityunjay Tiwari criticized the Bihar government for the murder of businessman Gopal Khemka in Patna and alleged that the state under the leadership of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has “reached a state of chaos”.
The RJD leader said that Nitish Kumar is no longer worthy of being the Chief Minister of Bihar.
Mrityunjay Tiwari told ANI, “Nitish Kumar is no longer worth living in the Chief Minister’s chair for a moment. Bihar has reached a state of chaos … It will be good for Bihar only with the departure of this government.”
Meanwhile, the Bihar Police has formed a special investigation team (SIT) to investigate the murder case. The SIT will be headed by Patna Central SP. The forensic team reached the spot on Saturday morning after the assassination of Gopal Khemka at Gandhi Maidan in Patna. The incident took place on 4 July.
Patna Superintendent of Police (SP) Deeksha told ANI on Saturday, “At around 11 pm on July 4, we got information that businessman Gopal Khemka has been shot dead in the southern area of Gandhi Maidan …”
The police officer said, “The scene has been secured and further investigation is on … a bullet and a kiosk was recovered.
