New Delhi. In the Nagpur violence case, the police has made important disclosure and told about its mastermind. According to the police, Faheem Shamim Khan instigated the crowd after which violence took place there. Faheem Shamim Khan is the city president of the Minority Democratic Party (MDP). The police has also released his photo. Faheem Shamim Khan fought an election from Nagpur seat in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. He has been named as the main conspirator in the FIR registered in the violence case. At the same time, the police has so far detained more than 60 miscreants.
According to police, people of Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal raised slogans and protests on 17 March demanding the removal of Aurangzeb’s grave. Aurangzeb’s effigy was also burnt during this period. After this, Faheem Shamim Khan gathered a crowd of 50 to 60 people and made inflammatory statements. Faheem asked the people of his community to gather in maximum numbers. After this, a crowd of about 400 people gathered near Chhatrapati Shivaji’s effigy. These people first attacked the police in Bhaldarpura Chowk area with deadly weapons. Not only this, the mob also performed porn with the female constable. Stoned the fire in the area and carried out arson.
