Modi said, Today, India remains one of the strong pillars of the world’s top civil aviation ecosystem as the growth of our civil aviation sector is phenomenal. In just a decade, in a few years, India has transformed from an aviation-exclusive country to an aviation-inclusive country. There was a time when air travel in India was only for a few people. Some big cities had good air connectivity, some rich people used to avail air travel regularly but today the situation has completely changed in India. Citizens of our tier 2 and tier 3 cities are also flying from there. Excellent planning of regional connectivity has extended air travel to small cities and lower middle class of India.
