NASA’s astronauts Buch Wilmore and Sunita Williams returned to Earth on Tuesday after being in space for nine months.The ‘SpaceX’ vehicle with astronauts was launched a few hours after departing from the international space station.
SpaceX Crew-9 came back to Earth with both astronauts. Both NASA astronauts went on a mission for just eight days. Both were stranded in space for nine months and 13 days due to technical fault. NASA wrote on his website-“Welcome to the house!

According to NASA’s website, Nick Hague, Sunita Williams, Buch Willmore and Roskosmos astronaut Alexander Gorbunov returned to Earth at 5:57 pm at the East time. The teams riding on the SpaceX recovery ships took back the spacecraft and its crew. After returning to the coast, the crew will fly to NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston. Everyone will meet their families there. NASA’s SpaceX Crew-9 on Tuesday completed the agency’s ninth commercial crew rotation mission for the international space station. It landed safely from the Talhasi coast of Florida in the Gulf of America into a SpaceX Dragon spacecraft.

Sunita Williams did two spacewalks
Sunita Williams launched two spacewalks. One included Wilmore with him and the other in the other. More than 150 unique scientific experiments were carried out in space with research for over 900 hours. This research included probe on plant growth and quality, as well as the ability of stem cell techniques to address blood diseases, autoimmune disorders and cancer. He also tested the lighting to help astronauts to maintain a circadian rhythm.
Celebration in Sunita’s ancestral village
After the completion of the orbit burn process at 3.27 am Indian time, the celebrations started in Sunita Williams’ ancestral village of Gujarat as soon as the space fairy landed on the coast of Florida.
