Talking to the media, the NC president said that an entire village was destroyed. “An entire village was destroyed. Three people were killed … It is a big disaster. I hope that the Indian government and the Prime Minister will pay attention to this.
Meanwhile, Gujarat Cabinet Minister Rishikesh Patel confirmed that all 50 Gujarati tourists trapped due to landslides are safe. He said that the state government has made arrangements to ensure their good and was working to bring them back home as soon as possible.
Union Minister Jitendra Singh appreciated the Indian Army for setting up medical camps after the death of three people due to sudden floods and landslides due to heavy rains in Ramb district of Jammu and Kashmir and for timely assistance in distributing necessary medicines.
Jitendra Singh said in a post on the social media platform X, “After the torrential hailstorm yesterday, the district administration team under the leadership of energetic DC Shri Bashir Haq has been doing commendable work since last night, but it is also time to thank the Indian Army for their timely assistance, which has played an important role in providing relief to the local population.”

Education Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Sakina said that in view of continuous serious weather conditions and forecast, classes will be postponed on Monday, 21 April in all schools in Kashmir Valley. This decision has been taken as a precautionary measure to ensure safety and goodness of all students in the valley.
