New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the cadets and others present there at the annual rally of NCC held at Cariappa Parade Ground in Delhi. Modi said, in this Amrit Kaal, we have to keep only one goal – ‘Developed India.’ Developed India should be the criterion for every decision and every action of ours. For this we have to always remember our five lives. Panch Prana means we have to make a developed India, we have to free ourselves from every thought of slavery, we have to be proud of our heritage, we have to work for the unity of India and we have to perform our duties honestly. These five lives give direction to every Indian and are the inspiration for every Indian.

During this, the PM also talked about one country, one election. He said, after independence, for a long time, Lok Sabha and Assembly elections were held simultaneously but then this pattern broke. The country had to suffer a lot due to this. In every election the voting list is updated, a lot of work is done and it often involves the duty of our teachers. Due to which studies are affected. Due to frequent elections, there are difficulties in governance, hence a very important debate is going on in the country on the subject of One Nation One Election and everyone is giving their views on this subject.

Modi said, in the 75 years of the Republic, the Constitution of India has always given democratic inspiration to the country and explained the importance of civic duties. Similarly, NCC also always inspired the youth of India for nation building and explained to them the importance of discipline. Modi told the cadets, you are going to determine the development of India and the development of the world in the 21st century. Before his address, Modi also inspected the NCC parade, during which Defense Minister Rajnath Singh was also present with him in the program.
