NCERT is developing a special class module on Operation Sindoor to help students learn about India’s defense strategy and diplomatic response.
This module will have two parts – first for students from class 3 to 8 and second for students of class 9 to 12.
A source said that a special module prepared by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) will have 8 to 10 pages focused on India’s strategic military response to the Pahalgam terror attack.
The source said, “It aims to explain to the students how the nation reacts to terrorist threats and how the coordination between defense, diplomacy and ministries play a role in national security.”
On 22 April, 26 people were shot in front of their family members in a deadly terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir.
India retaliated by targeting terrorist bases in Pakistan -occupied Kashmir and Pakistan under Operation Sindoor, resulting in a struggle between the two countries for four days.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Home Minister Amit Shah and Foreign Minister S Jaishankar are expected to participate in the 16 -hour debate, which is expected to last for three days.
