The National Critical Information Infrastructure Conservation Center (NCIIPC) and All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) Pentathhalon 2025 are being held at Dwarka Campus of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.
Out of 20,732 participants from across the country, 235 students have been selected for the Grand Finale of this national level cyber security painting challenge. NCIIPC, AICTE and Ministry of Education innovation Cells are organizing the event, including Amrita University platform partner and Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Venue Partner.
In the Grand Finale, the winning teams will be given Rs 2.50 lakh, 1.50 lakh and Rs 1 lakh respectively for the first, second and third place. Personal awards will also be 1 lakh, 75 thousand and 50 thousand rupees. In addition, shortlisted participants will be offered internships and will get an opportunity to join the National Pentating Pool.
At the inauguration ceremony, Director General of NCIIPC Shri Naveen Kumar Singh said that the purpose of this challenge is to promote an indigenous ecosystem of cyber security talent to secure Indian critical information infrastructure.
Dr. Abhay Jare, Vice President of AICTE, said that we have to develop a culture of innovation in our country and focus on knowledge -based economy rather than a service -based economy.
Vice Chancellor of IP University Padmashree Prof. (Dr.) Mahesh Verma said that today cyber security is a national priority and such a national level competition is a great way to promote awareness, expertise and innovation.
