Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat said on Friday that Sanskrit is the origin of all Indian languages and needs to be made a medium of communication.
Speaking at the inauguration of a building of poet Kulguru Kalidas Sanskrit University, Bhagwat said that there is a difference between understanding Sanskrit and interacting in that language.
He said that Sanskrit University will get government protection, but the protection of the public is also necessary.
The RSS chief insisted, “I have learned this language, but I am not able to speak it fluently. Sanskrit needs to be transported to every house and dialogue is necessary in this language.”
Bhagwat said that there is a consensus on the need to become ‘self -sufficient’, for which we need to develop our intelligence and knowledge. He said that language is a sense.
He said, “The nature is not materialism, but individualism and it is expressed through the language. Sanskrit is the origin of all Indian languages.”
He said that knowing Sanskrit is like understanding the country. Please tell that Bhagwat inaugurated Abhinav Bharati International Educational Building at the university.
