New Delhi. The new date of NEET PG 2025 exam has been finalized. The examination will be conducted in a single shift on 3 August 2025. The National Board of Examination (NBE), which conducts the examination organization, had sought permission from the Supreme Court on August 3. The Supreme Court gave permission to extend the date of the examination but also asked NBE questions. Actually, before that the NEET PG exam was to be held on 15 June. On May 30, the Supreme Court ordered the NEET PG exam to be conducted in the same shift. After this, NBE postponed the examination and applied in the Supreme Court.
NBE says that to conduct the exam in the same shift, it will have to select the examination centers afresh, we have to make more number of examination centers than before, there will have to be arranged for security arrangements. On this, Justice PK Mishra of the Supreme Court said that the order to conduct the exam in a shift was passed on May 30, what have you done since then? It is worth noting that on behalf of United Doctors Front, a petition was filed in the apex court demanding that the examination be conducted in a shift.
The court accepted this demand and passed an order in this regard on 30 May. However, NBE had argued in the court and said that they have neither adequate centers nor time to conduct the exam in a shift. The court had rejected this argument and said that time is sufficient for selection of examination centers. This time about 2 lakh 50 thousand candidates will sit in NEET PG Examination.
