A new decision has been issued in view of environmental protection in Delhi. Firecrackers have been completely banned by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) till January 1, 2025. This has been confirmed by Environment Minister Gopal Rai.
Decision has been taken to improve air quality
It has been told that this decision has been taken to improve the air quality in the city and for the safety of the people. The minimum temperature recorded in the city is 18.6 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature is 35 degrees Celsius.
Through a tweet, the Minister has informed that in view of the increasing pollution during winter, any kind of production, storage or purchase and sale of firecrackers has been banned till January 1, 2025. Instructions in this regard have also been issued by the Delhi Government. An appeal has been made to cooperate with all people.
