Today at 11.30 am, Aam Aadmi Party convenor Arvind Kejriwal has called a meeting of his party’s legislative party. The name of the new CM of Delhi will be finalized in that meeting. After this, Arvind Kejriwal will go to the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi in the evening with a letter of support. There Arvind Kejriwal will also submit his resignation from the post of CM of Delhi. Meanwhile, Delhi minister and Arvind Kejriwal’s close aide Saurabh Bhardwaj has said that he is not in the race to become the CM of Delhi. Giving the example of Bharat ruling by placing his sandals on Lord Ram’s throne, Saurabh Bhardwaj said that the new CM of Delhi will also run the government in the same way.

Arvind Kejriwal has been discussing with the leaders of his Aam Aadmi Party since Monday about who should become the new CM of Delhi. On Monday, former Deputy CM Manish Sisodia and Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chaddha had a long meeting with Arvind Kejriwal. After this, Arvind Kejriwal also talked to the members of the Political Affairs Committee (PAC) of the Aam Aadmi Party one by one to know their opinion. During this, there was a lot of discussion that Arvind Kejriwal’s wife Sunita Kejriwal, Minister Atishi, Gopal Rai, Kailash Gehlot and Saurabh Bhardwaj are in the race to become the CM of Delhi. The names of Sunita Kejriwal and Atishi were most discussed. The reason for this was that after Arvind Kejriwal went to jail, Sunita Kejriwal took charge of the campaign on behalf of the Aam Aadmi Party. At the same time, Arvind Kejriwal expressed great confidence in Minister Atishi and also proposed to the Lieutenant Governor to have her hoist the flag on Independence Day. Atishi also holds important departments including Finance, Revenue and Education.
Arvind Kejriwal was recently granted bail by the Supreme Court in the case of his arrest by the CBI in the alleged liquor scam case. Earlier, the Supreme Court had also granted bail to Arvind Kejriwal in the case of his arrest by the ED. After getting bail in both the cases, Arvind Kejriwal, who came out of Tihar Jail, announced that he would resign from the post of Delhi CM on Tuesday. Arvind Kejriwal also announced that he and Manish Sisodia will not take office until the people of Delhi once again prove him to be honest and make him win the election.
