If someone uses a mobile phone while driving, then he will be fined Rs 500 which can go ahead to Rs 5,000. If caught driving drunk, the accused can be fined from 10 thousand to 15 thousand and can be jailed for two years.
The accused will have to pay a fine of Rs 1,000 if caught without a helmet. Economic fine of 5 thousand rupees to 20 thousand rupees will be imposed on red light jump and overloading. The person driving carelessly will be fined up to Rs 5,000. A fine of Rs 1,000 will have to be paid for running three rides on the bike.
