President Draupadi Murmu approves Waqf Bill
New Delhi: President Draupadi Murmu approved the Waqf (Amendment) Bill on Saturday. With this, this bill has now turned into law. Please tell that this bill was passed this week in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. Regarding this bill, the government has claimed that this will help in bringing Sudhar in the condition of poor and pasmanda Muslims of the country and women of this community. The bill in the Lok Sabha was passed late on Wednesday night while in the Rajya Sabha it was passed late Thursday. Along with this, Parliament approved the Waqf (Amendment) Bill, 2025 and the Muslim Waqf (Relations) Bill, 2024.
Announcement of Muslim Personal Law Board
On the other hand, the All India Muslim Law Personal Board has made a big announcement against the Waqf Amendment Bill. The board says that the board will run a nationwide movement against this bill from next week. For this, a fight will be fought from court to road. The All India Muslim Personal Law Board said, ‘Both a legal battle and a fight on the road will be fought on the Waqf Amendment Bill. For this, a nationwide campaign will be conducted from next week. Protests at the district level and memorandum will be delivered to the Home Minister and the President.
Campaign will be run across the country
The board said, this campaign will be run under the name ‘Save Waqf, Save the Constitution’. Under this, major demonstrations will be held in cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Vijayawada, Mallapuram, Patna, Ranchi, Malerkotla and Lucknow. It will be started with the program of Talkatora Stadium in Delhi. Its first phase program will be held till Bakra Eid. The board has appealed to the youth to participate in this demonstration and perform peacefully.
