Newly married couple lost their lives in a road accident

A horrific road accident occurred in Pathanamthitta district of Kerala. A car collided with a bus carrying pilgrims on Sunday morning. In this accident, four members of the family including the newly married couple traveling in the car died.

Accident occurred on Punalur-Muvattupuzha state highway

According to the police, the accident occurred around 5 am on the Punalur-Muvattupuzha state highway. Local people said that the passengers of the car have been taken out of the damaged vehicle. Police said that three people died on the spot and one died on the way to the hospital.

No one on the bus was hurt

It is being told that the car collided with the bus. The bus was carrying pilgrims from Telangana to Sabarimala. There were no injuries to any passenger on the bus.

The accident happened just 10 kilometers away from home.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the newlywed couple, who got married last month, were returning home after honeymooning in Malaysia. Police said that the accident happened just 10 kilometers away from the victims’ house. The case has been registered.

Accident happened while coming home from airport

After the wedding, the couple went to Malaysia for their honeymoon before going to their workplace in Canada. After returning home with sweet memories of their honeymoon, they were returning home from the airport with their loved ones when the accident happened.

The wedding took place on 30 November

The couple was married on 30 November. The accident happened just 10 kilometers away from his house. Nikhil’s father Mathai Iappen and Anu’s father Biju P George also died in the accident. The Maruti Swift car in which they were traveling collided with a bus carrying Sabarimala pilgrims from Andhra Pradesh. The car is completely damaged.
