NIA conducted rapid raids at 22 places
New Delhi: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) is conducting raids in Jammu and Kashmir, Maharashtra, UP, Assam and Delhi in the case related to the activities of terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed. These raids are going on at a total of 22 places. According to the information, NIA is also conducting raids in Malegaon city of Maharashtra. A raid is going on since late night at a doctor’s homeopathy clinic in Abdullah Nagar on Mashriqi Iqbal Road in the city.

The National Investigation Agency on Saturday conducted searches at 22 locations across several states as part of its probe against the Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammed terror outfit, officials said. He said that searches are going on in Jammu and Kashmir, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Assam and Delhi.
There was a raid in West Bengal on Tuesday
Earlier recently, NIA had raided many places in different districts of West Bengal. The NIA team conducted extensive searches of the suspects’ residences at 11 locations in South 24 Parganas, Asansol, Howrah, Nadia and Kolkata districts of the state. The NIA said that the suspects were active workers of the CPI (Maoist) and were believed to have assisted the commanders of the organization in carrying out Naxalite activities.
NIA said that many documents, electronic devices, pamphlets, magazines and handwritten letters were seized during the search. The NIA said the case pertains to a conspiracy by the Politburo, Central Committee members, workers and supporters of the banned organisation.
