CM Nitish Kumar had earlier expanded the cabinet in March 2024. After this expansion, there were 30 ministers including Deputy CM Vijay Sinha and Samrat Chaudhary in Nitish Kumar’s government. Among them, BJP has 15 ministers. Whereas, JDU has 13 ministers including Nitish Kumar. 1 and 1 independents from Jitan Ram Manjhi’s Hum Party also made Nitish Kumar a minister. In such a situation, 6 more ministers can be included in the Nitish government. If 3 new ministers of BJP are formed, then 2-3 MLAs from JDU will be able to become ministers.
