Jamiat President Maulana Arshad Madani
New Delhi: Prominent Muslim organization Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind on Friday said that in view of the stance on the Waqf (Amendment) Bill, it will boycott Nitish Kumar, N Chandrababu Naidu and Chirag Paswan’s Iftar, Eid Milan and other programs and other Muslim organizations should also do the same. Jamiat chief Maulana Arshad Madani alleged in a statement that these leaders were supporting the ‘anti -Constitution steps’ of the government.
Jamiat will boycott the programs of secular leaders
Arshad Madani said that those who call themselves secular, who are silent on the atrocities and injustice on Muslims and remain a part of the current government, have decided to protest against them against them. Under this, Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind will not participate in any program of such people, whether it is an iftar party, Eid union or any other event.
He claimed, “The kind of situations in the country at this time and the injustice and torture being done to minorities, especially Muslims, is not hidden from anyone.” But it is extremely unfortunate that the leader who has also contributed to the political success of secular and the sympathizer of Muslims, who has also contributed to the political success, is not only silent in the greed of power, but also indirectly supporting injustice.
‘Leaders are keeping silence on injustice on Muslims’
Madani alleged that leaders like Nitish Kumar, Chandrababu Naidu and Chirag Paswan are not only ignoring the injustice being done against Muslims, but are also ignoring the constitution and democratic values of the country. He said, “The attitude of these leaders on the Waqf Amendment Bill reveals their double character. These leaders only adopt the secularism of appearances to get the votes of Muslims, but forget the issues of the Muslim community after coming to power. In view of this, Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind has decided that it will not give validity to their policies by joining the events of such leaders.
Madani has also appealed to other Muslim organizations of the country to participate in this symbolic protest and avoid participating in events like Iftar party and Eid Milan.
