Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday, while wishing the people on ‘Bihar Day’, said that no effort will be left for the all -round development of the state, which is the center of Indian traditions and culture.
In a post on the social media platform ‘X’, Modi described Bihar as a holy land of brave and great personalities. He said, “The holy land of heroes and great personalities wishes all their siblings of Bihar on Bihar Day.”
The Prime Minister wrote, “Our state, which makes Indian history proud, is going through the important phase of its development journey today, the hard working and talented Biharites here have an important participation. We will leave no stone unturned for the all-round development of our state who is the focal point of our culture and tradition.
Bihar is one of the poorest states in India due to the home of the ancient Indian empires and the holy places associated with Buddhist and Jainism where a large number of migrant workers work in different parts of the country.
Bihar was separated from the then Bengal Presidency in 1912 and made a separate state on 22 March.
