Mumbai After the murder of NCP leader and former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddiqui, his son Zeeshan Siddiqui and actor Salman Khan have now received death threats. According to Mumbai Police, a call threatening death was received at Zeeshan Siddiqui’s public relations office in Bandra East on Friday. The threat maker demanded money from Zeeshan and Salman Khan. After receiving this information, Mumbai Police has started investigation. Mumbai Police has arrested Mohammad Tayyab alias Gufran from Noida, UP. He is being interrogated.
Zeeshan Siddiqui was earlier a Congress MLA. This time he is contesting Maharashtra Assembly elections from Ajit Pawar’s NCP. On October 12, his father Baba Siddiqui was shot dead outside Zeeshan Siddiqui’s office. Police had arrested two accused from the spot. Several other accused were later arrested from UP and Haryana. Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang had taken the responsibility of Baba Siddiqui’s murder. Lawrence Bishnoi gang says that Baba Siddiqui had relations with Don Dawood Ibrahim and that is why he was murdered.
Salman Khan has also been in the hit list of Lawrence Bishnoi gang for a long time. Salman Khan was accused of hunting black buck during the shooting of the film in Rajasthan. Giving this reason, Lawrence Bishnoi gang wants to kill Salman Khan. A few months ago, there was firing at Galaxy Apartment, Salman Khan’s residence in Mumbai. Those who fired were found to be linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Salman Khan’s security has been increased after the murder of Baba Siddiqui.
