New Delhi. Now a case of rape and murder of a girl has come to light in West Bengal. The body of a 10-year-old girl was found in a pond in Jai Nagar of South 24 Parganas district. The family alleges that the girl was murdered after being raped. The girl had gone to study coaching on Friday afternoon but did not return home. After this, his body was found in the pond in the morning. Due to this incident, the anger of the angry people erupted on the police. Angry people set fire to the police post. Not only this, many vehicles were also set on fire. When the police tried to disperse the crowd, angry people pelted stones.

People allege that the girl lost her life due to police negligence. The family had gone to Mahishamari police station to lodge a complaint regarding the girl’s disappearance but their complaint was not registered and they were sent to Jai Nagar police station. Meanwhile, members of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) of North Kolkata district also protested and raised slogans against the Trinamool government and the police. On the other hand, TMC MP Pratima Bhowmik, who came to meet the victim’s family, had to face opposition from the villagers.

On the other hand, Additional SP Panwar Goswami said that we have arrested an accused in this case. At present, efforts are on to find out whether other people were involved in the murder of the girl or not. Whether the girl was raped or not is also being investigated, it will be clear after the report. Along with this he said that the situation is currently under control. Considering the situation, RAF has been deployed. According to the police, those who set fire to the post are also being identified and action will be taken against them.
