Bangalore-Kamakhya AC Express crashed
Cuttack: Kamakhya Express derailed on Sunday in Cuttack district of Odisha. One person died in this accident while 8 people were injured. This information has been given by the DM of Cuttack. At the same time, this accident is being investigated. This train was going from Bangalore to Kamakhya. The 11 coaches of the train derailed in Nirgundi near Manguli.
As soon as the accident was reported, a relief train along with NDRF was sent to the spot. Railway and administration officials reached the spot and relief work was started. Also, necessary arrangements are being made to send the trapped passengers to their destination.
At the same time, after this accident, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Vishwa Sharma said that after the railway accident in Odisha, his office is in touch with the Odisha government. Sharma said in a post on ‘X’, “I am aware of the incident related to 12551 Kamakhya Express in Odisha. Assam Chief Minister’s Office is in contact with the Odisha Government and Railways. We will contact everyone affected.”
