US President Donald Trump once again claimed that he prevented India and Pakistan from fighting and asked the two countries that his (Trump) administration could not trade with those who shot at each other.
“We prevented India and Pakistan from fighting fighting during a press conference with billionaire businessman and Tesla CEO Allen Musk. I believe it could have turned into a nuclear disaster.”
Musk, who takes charge of Government Efficiency Department, is leaving the Trump administration.
Trump said that “he wants to thank the leaders of India, Pakistan leaders and his people.
Trump said that the leaders of India and Pakistan are “great” and “he agreed with understanding, after which all this stopped.”
Nearly two weeks after 26 people were killed in a terrorist attack on 22 April in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, India launched Operation Sindoor targeting terrorists in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).
After drone and missile attacks from both sides of the border for four days, India and Pakistan agreed to stop the struggle on May 10.
