PM Modi spoke on the controversy over visiting CJI’s home.
Bhubaneswar: PM Modi is on a visit to Odisha today on Tuesday. During this, he started the Subhadra Yojana in Odisha. Apart from this, he also inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of many projects. PM Modi has also given a statement for the first time on the controversy of going to the CJI’s house and participating in Ganesh Puja. Addressing a public meeting in Bhubaneswar, PM Modi said that when I participated in Ganesh Puja, Congress and its entire ecosystem got into trouble.
Ganapati worship is disturbing
PM Modi said here in Odisha, ‘Ganesh Utsav was a thorn in the eyes of the British who followed the policy of divide and rule. Even today, the power hungry people who are engaged in dividing and breaking the society are having trouble with Ganesh Puja.’ He said, ‘You must have seen that the people of Congress and its ecosystem are angry for the last few days because I participated in Ganpati Puja.
Attacked the Congress government
Attacking the Congress, PM Modi said, ‘In Karnataka, where their government is in power, these people have committed an even bigger crime. These people put the statue of Lord Ganesha behind bars. The whole country was disturbed by those pictures. This hateful thinking, the mentality of poisoning the society is dangerous for our country, so such hateful forces should not be allowed to grow. Together we have to achieve many big milestones. We have to take Odisha along and reach new heights.’
Launch of Subhadra Yojana
Let us tell you that PM Modi on Tuesday launched the women-centric scheme ‘Subhadra’ of the Odisha government. Apart from this, he unveiled railway and national highway projects worth more than Rs 3,800 crore in the state. The Prime Minister also laid the foundation stone of national railway projects worth Rs 2,871 crore in the state. He also unveiled national highway projects worth Rs 1,000 crore at a program in Janata Maidan here.
