Due to the non-interlocking work being done by North Western Railway due to the installation of electronic interlocking panels at Delhi Sarai Rohilla station, the operation of several trains running between Delhi and Rajasthan will be affected from July 20 to July 28. According to railway officials, a total of 70 trains will be affected during this period.
North Western Railway Chief Public Relations Officer Shashi Kiran said that due to this work, many trains running from major stations like Jaipur, Jodhpur, Bikaner and Barmer have been canceled or partially canceled.
For what reason trains are being canceled?
Electronic interlocking panels are being installed to upgrade the signaling system at Delhi Sarai Rohilla station. Due to this technical improvement, signaling devices are being temporarily disconnected, called non-interlocking work. Due to this, services are being postponed for a few days to safely ensure the movement of trains.
