According to security forces, terrorists use this area for infiltration, which is why the Degwar sector of Poonch district which is surrounded by dense forests and inaccessible. Although the army is deployed here, but many times terrorists escape by resorting to forests. Earlier on Monday, the Indian Army killed three terrorists in the Lidwas area of Srinagar district of Jammu and Kashmir. All three were involved in the terrorist Pahalgam attack. The army named Operation Mahadev of this campaign. The three terrorists killed included Suleman alias Hashim Musa, the mastermind of the Pahalgam attack.
Hashim Musa had taken training with the Pakistani Army. He used to carry out terrorist incidents by joining Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist organization. All three terrorists killed in Operation Mahadev are said to be linked to TRF. TRF is an organization of Lashkar and this group also claimed responsibility for the Pahalgam terror attack. However, in view of India’s attitude, the TRF had tried to dismantle its pall and said that by hacking his social media account, someone had posted the responsibility of the Pahalgam attack.
