Principal Defense President (CDS) General Anil Chauhan said on Friday that Operation Sindoor is still going on and the country should keep a very high level of military preparations for twenty -four hours and throughout the year.
Addressing the defense seminar held at Subroto Park, he also said that the army would also need “information warriors, technology warriors and scholarly warriors” in future. He said that in this scenario of war, future soldiers will have to be scholars in terms of information, technology and education.
The seminar was organized on the subject of ‘Aerospace Power: Preserving India’s Sovereign and Firing National Intests’ under the aegis of ‘No. 4 Warfare and Aerospace Strategy Program’.
The CDS said that there is no runner -up in the war and any army should be constantly vigilant and keep a high level of campaign preparations.
General Chauhan said, “Operation Sindoor is an example of this, which is still going on. Our level of preparation should be very high, twenty -four hours, 365 days.”
In response to the terrorist attack on April 22 in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, India started operations vermilion on the morning of May 7 and demolished several targets of terrorists in Pakistan and Pakistan -occupied Kashmir (PoK).
Pakistan also started an aggressive campaign against India and its attacks were also responded to under Operation Sindoor.
After the consent on the evening of May 10, military struggle between the two nuclear power countries stopped. The CDS also emphasized the importance of learning both arms and scriptures.
