New Delhi: AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi, after attending the all -party meeting convened by the government in view of Pahalgam terror attack, strongly condemned the terror attack and demanded strict action against Pakistan. He also appreciated the government’s decision to suspend the Indus Water Treaty. He appreciated the decisions taken by the Cabinet Committee on Security Affairs. Owaisi said that it is a very good thing that the Indus Water Treaty has been suspended, but where will we keep the water? Whatever decision the central government takes, we will support it. This is not a political issue.
Demand for action against Pakistan
Asaduddin Owaisi said that the central government can take action against the country that shelters terrorist groups. International law also allows us to impose aerial and naval blockade in self -defense against Pakistan and ban Pakistan on arms sale.

Owaisi said why CRPF was not deployed in Basaron Maidan? Why did the army take an hour to reach there for quick action. Why did the terrorists shoot people by asking religion. The all -party meeting was attended by Union Minister and BJP National President JP Nadda, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, Congress President, Opposition Leader (LOP) Rahul Gandhi and other prominent leaders attended. Let us tell you that terrorists attacked tourists at Basaron Maidan in Pahalgam on Tuesday, killing 25 Indian citizens and a Nepali citizens, while many others were injured. It was one of the most deadly attacks in the valley after the 2019 Pulwama attack in which 40 CRPF jawans were martyred.
