Sonia said, ‘I am very sad and shocked to know about the brutal terrorist attack on innocent tourists in Pahalgam region of Jammu and Kashmir. Resorting violence is a cowardly task and should be strongly condemned. I understand the pain of families who have lost their loved ones and express their deep condolences to them. I also pray for the injured to recover early. The whole country is united against terror. We are determined to defeat these divisive and violent forces. We need to work to create extensive social consent against the terror present in the past. It is necessary that the safety of our citizens should be ensured and peace is restored in the area.
