On the other hand, Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis has described the Pahalgam terror attack as extremely condemnable. He said that I am confident, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will find out its mastermind of this attack and crush such intentions as he has done before. Along with this, Fadnavis has announced compensation for the families of the people of Maharashtra who lost their lives in this terror attack. CM said that 6 people of Maharashtra lost their lives and we will give assistance of Rs 5 lakh to each family.

On the other hand, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath spoke to Sanjay Dwivedi, father of Shubham Dwivedi of Kanpur, who was killed in Pahalgam, over the phone and tied him up. Yogi said, in this hour of grief, the Uttar Pradesh government is standing with the family suffering from full commitment. The CM directed the concerned officials of the state to take the body of Shubham Dwivedi to Kanpur. He said that it is a prayer to Lord Shri Ram to place the departed soul in his Shri feet and give the mournful families the power to bear this immense sorrow.
