Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif recently told the media that India is less likely to have another military attack. He gave three major reasons behind this: International support, mediation of Donald Trump, and India’s economic status.
1. International support and transparency: Sharif said that Pakistan has always shown transparency and even proposed to the US to participate in the investigation of India’s allegations. This transparency has won the trust of the international community.
2. Trump’s role: Sharif said that former US President Donald Trump meditated in the Indo-Pakistan struggle and got a ceasefire, which he considers his major achievement. Sharif believes that Trump is keen to maintain this peace.
3. India’s Economic Station: Sharif said that in view of India’s economic progress, war will be disastrous for him. He said, “We are already in a period of struggle, so we are ready for any situation, but the war will be a completely disaster for India.”
Apart from this, Sharif also expressed concern over Pakistan’s economic situation and said that the time has come to use its natural and human resources in beneficial projects.
