If India did not leave, Pakistani citizens will be fined

New Delhi: After the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, India has adopted a strict attitude against Pakistan. The Government of India has instructed Pakistani citizens to leave India. If a Pakistani citizen fails to leave India within the deadline decided by the Government of India, he will be arrested. Apart from this, such people will be prosecuted and may have to face a fine of up to three years or a maximum fine of Rs 3 lakh or both.

How much fine will Pak citizens have to pay?

According to the immigration and foreign act 2025, which came into effect on April 4, stay over the scheduled time, violating visa conditions or an entry into restricted areas can cause a three -year jail and a fine of up to Rs 3 lakh.

Significantly, Union Home Minister Amit Shah called the Chief Ministers of all the states on Friday (April 25) and asked them to ensure that no Pakistani citizen stayed beyond the scheduled time frame to leave the country.

Why is there strictness on Pakistani citizens?
