New Delhi. A Pakistani spy has been arrested from Panipat in Haryana. During Operation Sindoor, he used to send information to Pakistan about the movement of the Indian Army, information related to the army, the recent environment of India, the timing of trains etc. He was in touch with some people of Pakistan through social media. The name of the captured detective is Nauman Ilahi who is originally from Kairana in Uttar Pradesh. Nauman Elahi was staying near his sister in Holly Colony in Panipat and was working as a guard in a private company.
Confirming the arrest of the Pakistani spy, SP Ganga Ram Punia of Panipat said that we had reliable inputs, on the basis of which we collected evidence and arrested a person named Nauman Ilahi. This person was temporarily living in Panipat. A case has been registered in this regard at Panipat Industrial Area police station. The accused will be produced in the court, where police remand will be demanded. It is alleged against him that he was in touch with some people in Pakistan and was giving them sensitive information.

The SP said that he was arrested in Panipat yesterday and he is being questioned. The names that have come out in his interrogation are also being confirmed. The investigation is in its initial stage. Police is also collecting additional documents in this regard, after which whatever investigation will be carried forward. Whatever facts will be revealed after interrogation, it will be made aware. Along with this, he appealed to the people that if any kind of suspicious activity or information about the suspected person is received, then immediately inform the administration and do not pay attention to the rumors.
