Giving a decisive response to Pakistan’s aggressive actions along the Line of Control (LoC), the Indian armed forces on Saturday targeted important Pakistani military establishments including technical facilities, command and control centers, radar sites and ammunition strongholds.
Addressing the joint press conference organized by the Ministry of External Affairs and the Ministry of Defense on Operation Sindoor, Foreign Secretary Vikram Egypting on Saturday said, “I have earlier also said that Pakistan’s actions are provoking and stress. In response, India has rescued these rage and tension actions done by Pakistan and reacted this morning. Repeated stress -boosting action. “
Egyptian also said that Additional District Development Commissioner Raj Kumar Thapa was killed and several civilians were injured in the shelling at Rajouri city of Jammu and Kashmir this morning. This has further increased the number of casualties in the state.
Colonel Sophia Qureshi of the Indian Army said that accurate attacks were carried out on the radar sites of Pasroid and Sialkot aviation locations along with Pakistani military bases in Rafiki, Murid, Chaklala, Rahim Khan, Sukkur and Chunion using air weapons from Indian fighter jets.
He further stated that an accurate target was targeted to minimize any kind of damage, and he reiterated India’s commitment to not make the situation more serious.
He said, “In response to Pakistan to target civic bases, the Indian armed forces retaliated and targeted technical installations, command and control centers, radar sites and ammunition bases … Rafiki, Murid, Chaklala, Rahim Yaar Khan, Sukkur and Chunians attacked our fighter planes in the military hideouts of Pakistan … Radar sites at Sialkot Aviation locations have also been targeted by using accurate weapons.
Colonel Oreshi also underlined the boundary of Pakistan’s aggression, including the use of unmanned fighter air vehicles (UCAVs), long distance weapons, ammunition and fighter jets to target India’s military structures.
He said, “Pakistan has continued its aggressive attack on the western border. They used drones and heavy -capacity weapons to attack the Line of Control. Attempted an attempt from airspace at more than 26 places from Srinagar to Nalia.”
Despite the intensity of the attacks, the Indian Army successfully retaliated, although the airbase of Udhampur, Pathankot, Adampur, Bhuj and Bathinda was damaged and the personnel suffered injuries. Addressing a press conference on Saturday, Wing Commander Vyomika Singh confirmed that the Pakistani army was sending its soldiers to the forward areas.
Wing Commander Singh insisted that although all hostile actions have been given a proportional response, India has reiterated its commitment to reduce stress on the condition of mutual restraint from Pakistan.
Singh said, “The Pakistani army has been seen leading to the forward areas, which further reflects the aggressive intention to increase more stress. The Indian armed forces are in high level of operational readiness, and all hostile actions have been effectively competed and have been replied accordingly. Indian armed forces have reiterated their commitment to increase stress.
He said, “In a quick and planned response, the Indian Armed Forces only attacked the identified military goals … Pakistan has constantly attempted to run a malicious misinformation campaign, which claims to destroy the Indian S-400 system, destroy the airports in Suratgarh and Sirsa … India clearly dismisses these false claims spread by Pakistan.”
Accurate attacks on Pakistani military bases were part of Operation Sindoor started on Wednesday, which was launched on April 22 after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, killing 26 people. The purpose of this operation was to destroy the terrorist structure in Pakistan and PoK, as well as focus on avoiding military growth.
