Broken part of the aircraft broken due to hailstorm
New Delhi: Another shameful act of Pakistan has come to light. The pilot, who made an emergency landing of Indigo flight going to Srinagar, sought permission to use Pakistan airspace from Lahore Air Traffic Control to save the lives of passengers but the request was rejected. Sources said that on Wednesday, when there was a sudden thunderstorm and hailstorm, the IndiGo pilot sought permission for Pakistan to avoid bad weather, which was refused by Lahore Air Traffic Control.
DGCA investigating the case
Sources said that flight number 6E 2142 case is being investigated by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). The aircraft had about 227 people, including TMC MP. When there was a sudden hailstorm in the midst of bad weather, the pilot reported an emergency at the Srinagar airport to air traffic control. After this, emergency landing of the aircraft was made.
Sagarika Ghosh said- Life is over
At the same time, TMC leader Sagarika Ghosh said on Wednesday, recalling the moment of the Indigo flight going to Srinagar due to bad weather that it was an experience of getting closer to death. I thought my life was over. People were screaming. Was praying to God. Salute to the pilot that removed us from that situation. When we landed, we saw that the front of the aircraft was damaged.
Many leaders were riding on the plane
Let us know that the Emergency landing of IndiGo flight was made at Srinagar Airport on Wednesday. The aircraft had 227 people aboard. A five -member delegation from Trinamool was riding in a flight to Srinagar. The aircraft included the delegation members Derek O’Brien, Nadeemul Haq, Sagarika Ghosh, Manas Bhuiyan and Mamta Thakur. In the video going viral, passengers can be seen praying while the aircraft was shaken. During hailstorm, the front part of the aircraft (Radom) was damaged.
