Special trains for Diwali-Chhath
For the convenience of passengers on the occasion of Diwali and Chhath, Indian Railways has announced many special trains. The trains that the Railways has run are – Kota-Danapur-Kota Patna-Newjalpaiguri-Patna Katihar-Dauram Madhepura-Katihar and Katihar-Chhapra-Katihar special train. The Kota-Danapur-Kota special train will have 19 third air-conditioned class coaches. Chief Public Relations Officer said that four pairs of special trains are being operated.
Kota-Danapur-Kota special 09803/09804 Kota-Danapur-Kota special train will be operated between Kota and Danapur via Guna, Sagar, Katni, Prayagraj Chhivki, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction. This special train will have 19 third air-conditioned class coaches. This train will run from Kota every Sunday and Thursday from October 27 to November 10 and from Danapur every Monday and Friday from October 28 to November 11.
Along with this, Patna-Newjalpaiguri-Patna Special train will be run between Newjalpaiguri and Patna Junction via Siliguri, Kishanganj, Katihar, Barauni, Mokama.

05740 Newsalpaiguri-Patna Special will depart from Newsalpaiguri at 05.00 hrs on Saturday and reach Patna Jn at 17.40 hrs on the same day. Will reach. In return, 05739 Patna-Newjalpaiguri special will reach Patna Jn on Saturday. It will depart at 19.30 hrs and reach Newsalpaiguri at 09.30 hrs the next day.
Katihar-Dauram Madhepura-Katihar Special 07541/07542 Katihar-Dauram Madhepura-Katihar special train will be operated between Katihar and Dauram Madhepura via Purnia, Banmankhi, Janakinagar, Murliganj. This special train will be operated daily between Katihar and Dauram Madhepura from 28th October to 30th November.
07541 Katihar-Dauram Madhepura special will depart from Katihar at 19.00 hrs daily and reach Dauram Madhepura at 22.00 hrs. In return, 07542 Dauram Madhepura-Katihar special will depart from Dauram Madhepura at 22.45 hrs daily and reach Katihar at 02.30 am.
Katihar-Chhapra-Katihar Special 05744/05743 Katihar-Chhapra-Katihar special train will be operated between Katihar and Chhapra via Navgachia, Mansi, Khagaria, Barauni, Shahpur Patori, Hajipur Sonpur. This train will run from Katihar on every Thursday, Sunday and Monday from 27th October to 28th November and from Chhapra on every Friday, Monday and Tuesday from 28th October to 29th November.
05744 Katihar-Chhapra special will depart from Katihar at 16:00 and reach Chhapra at 00.20 at night. In return, 05743 Chhapra-Katihar special will depart from Chhapra at 04.30 hrs and reach Katihar at 12.30 hrs on the same day.
