The road which was seen in 2010 was fulfilled in 2025. Patna-Gaya-Dobhi Fourlane Road, is now fully ready. This road was not only a big need for the Bihar government, but also the people of the Bihar – because going from Patna to Bodh Gaya or Jharkhand was still a mess.
Which areas will pass through which areas?
The four -lane road will start from Saristabad in Patna and go to Dobhi via Punpun, Drafdi, Jehanabad, Makhdumpur, Gaya bypass and Bodh Gaya. That is, the entire 127 km long journey has now become comfortable.
What was the problem earlier?
The first company to build the road did not have money, leaving work.
There was a lot of dispute in land acquisition.
The matter reached Patna High Court and the court had to monitor himself.
Repeated deadline continued to grow… and in such a situation, the 5-year project was completed in 15 years.
What will be the benefit now?
The biggest advantage from this road will be that now Gaya from Patna can be reached in just 1.5 hours. Earlier this journey used to take 4 hours. Those who go to Bodh Gaya – whether they are tourists or foreign Buddhism followers, will now get relief.
Employment and tourism will get a boost
Gaya MLA Prem Kumar said that with the construction of this road, the journey will not only be easy, but tourism will increase, people will come and local people will also get employment. There will also be relief from jam.
