Preparations for the introduction of Vande Bharat Express between Patna and Gorakhpur have been completed. In the meeting of MPs with railway officers of Varanasi Division, there was a discussion about the route, timing and development of this train. With the arrival of this train, connectivity between Bihar and Uttar Pradesh will be better.
Importance will increase for Thawe and Gopalganj
Small stations like Thave Junction and Gopalganj will now be part of the large route. This will make traffic in these areas easier and will also promote local trade.
Proposal to change the time of local trains
In the meeting, it was also suggested to improve the timing of some local trains, not only Vande India. As:

Suggestion to increase Arunachal Superfast Express
Another proposal came in the meeting that the Arunachal Superfast Express (which runs on the Siwan-Thawe-Gorakhpur-Delhi route) should be pushed forward and added to the areas so that long distance travel can be easier.
With the operation of this train, Gopalganj district which is also the border of Bihar and UP will barely take one hour for people to reach there. In this form, the express train is negligible but due to the operation of the fellow Bharat Express, people living in these districts will get 1 big boost.
