Mumbai After the Supreme Court was rejected by the Supreme Court, North Indian Development Army President Sunil Shukla has filed a petition in the Bombay High Court seeking to register a case against MNS supremo Raj Thackeray and provide security to himself. Sunil Shukla said in a petition filed in the Bombay High Court that Raj Thackeray and his party people are inciting violence against North Indians and Hindi speakers in Maharashtra. In the petition, Sunil Shukla has also alleged that he is also being threatened.
In the petition filed in the Bombay High Court, Sunil Shukla has alleged that he has been giving serious threats for the last one year. The petition said that the process of getting threats is increasing continuously, but despite giving nine complaints, the police and the state administration have not taken any action. Sunil Shukla has told the Bombay High Court in the petition that a police officer saw the hour -long violence from him, but neither took a statement nor arrested anyone. The incident took place in October 2024. When Raj Thackeray’s MNS activists entered Sunil Shukla’s party’s office and created a ruckus.
The petition also said that in March this year, Raj Thackeray gave a speech on Gudi Padwa festival and it was widely broadcast and called for violence against Hindi speakers working in malls and banks. The petition said that after this speech of Raj Thackeray, attacks were carried out at many places on those who did not speak Marathi language. Sunil Shukla has alleged that his phone number was spread by Raj Thackeray’s MNS people. After which there was a flood of threatening messages. It has also been appealed to the Bombay High Court to direct the Election Commission to abolish Raj Thackeray’s MNS recognition. Also, the petition has also been demanded to conduct threats from the SIT or fair agency.
