New Delhi. After filing a petition in the Delhi High Court of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind, now an accused of killing Taylor Kanhaiyalal has moved the Supreme Court. Mohammad Javed, accused of killing Taylor Kanhaiyalal, has pleaded to stop the release of the film ‘Udaipur files’ by petitioning in the Supreme Court. The accused of killing Kanhaiyalal has filed a petition in the Supreme Court and said that the release of the film Udaipur files could affect a fair hearing of the case. Mohammad Javed is the eighth accused in the murder of Taylor Kanhaiyalal. He has said that the release of the film should be stopped till the case is settled.
Mohammad Javed, accused of Kanhaiyalal’s murder, has said in a petition filed in the Supreme Court that the film Udaipur files are going to be released on July 11. The trailer released of this film seems to be provoking communal sentiments. He has said that to make the accused guilty of Kanhaiyalal’s murder in the film guilty can affect the fair hearing of this case. He has said in the petition citing Article 21 of the Constitution that the film Udaipur files can create his opinion in the murder of Kanhaiyalal that the arrested people are guilty. Mohammad Javed has mentioned Section 6 of the Cinematography Act and said that the central government can cancel the certificate of a film in the public interest and it should be done in the case of Udaipur files.
Kanhaiyalal Teli used to work as Taylor in Udaipur. He was murdered in June 2022. The main accused in his murder are Mohammad Riyaz and Mohammad Gaus. The accused of the murder had released the video after the incident saying that Kanhaiyalal had shared the video released in favor of BJP leader Nupur Sharma. This is why he was murdered.
