Pilibhit. Three Khalistani terrorists Jaspreet, Gurvinder Singh and Varinder Singh were killed in an encounter in the early hours of 23rd December in Pilibhit, UP. Now in the investigation of UP Police in this matter, these terrorists are connected to Khalistani terrorist Kulbir Singh Sidhu, who has a reward of Rs 10 lakh sitting in England. According to the news of Hindi newspaper Amar Ujala, Kulbir Singh Sidhu is accused of conspiring to murder Vishwa Hindu Parishad or VHP leader Vikas Bagga in Nangal of Rupnagar district of Punjab. Police investigation has revealed that Kulbir Singh Sidhu had called Jaspal alias Sunny from England to get a hotel room for the Khalistani terrorists killed in the encounter.
Jaspal alias Sunny Gajraula is a resident of Japti. He was arrested by Pilibhit police on Wednesday night. Police had received CCTV footage from Harji Hotel in Puranpur. Jaspal had taken the three Khalistani terrorists to stay in this hotel. According to the police, Kulbir Singh Sidhu, a native of Haryana, is related to the Khalistani terrorist organization Babbar Khalsa International i.e. BKI. He is related to Wadhawa Singh Babbar. Haryana Police has also come to Puranpur in connection with Sidhu. He himself stayed in Puranpur and Gajraula Japti for one and a half years. Police believe that Kulbir Singh Sidhu sent the slain Khalistani terrorists to Pilibhit so that they could escape to another country through Nepal.
NIA is also helping Pilibhit Police in this work. The police has taken the issue of Khalistani terrorists very seriously. The reason for this is that a few decades ago, the police had killed 10 Khalistani terrorists in Pilibhit itself. At present, the police is also rapidly searching for more helpers of the Khalistani terrorists killed here. It is believed that in the coming days, police and NIA may arrest more accused from here.
