Rain alert in many parts of the country

AQI reached near 400 in Delhi
There is a danger of air pollution and water pollution in Delhi. The clean air of the rainy season has now become poisonous. The air of Delhi-NCR has become polluted 8 times more than the WHO limit. The stubble smoke coming from Punjab-Haryana has started suffocating. Delhi’s AQI level is set to reach near 400.
AQI level 353 in Akshardham area
A blanket of fog covered many areas of Delhi. A layer of smog has covered Akshardham temple and surrounding areas of Delhi. The AQI of this area has reached 353, which has been kept in the ‘very poor’ category according to the Central Pollution Control Board. The AQI level in and around Nehru Park has reached 254. It has been kept in ‘bad’ category.
Rain alert in these parts of the country
According to the Meteorological Department, light rain may occur at some places in Uttarakhand and Punjab. Along with this, the Meteorological Department has issued a rain alert in many districts of Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Indian Meteorological Department said that there is a possibility of rain in these parts of the country from Monday to Friday (21 to 25 October).
