New Delhi. Swara Manch of Pinkish Foundation organized a poetess’ conference on the special topic of menstruation ‘Lal Rang Zindagi Ka’ on 1 December 2024 at Hindi Bhawan, Delhi. The aim of Pinkish Foundation is to make women aware about the problems caused by menstruation and by providing them knowledge. On this occasion, Pinkish Foundation’s General Secretary Mrs. Shalini Gupta and Treasurer Mrs. Vandana Gupta encouraged the people. In the program of Pinkish Foundation, about 20 poetesses tried to bring awareness in the society by reciting poems on the serious topic of menstruation. The program started with lighting of the lamp and worship of Sunita Rajeev’s mother Sharda.
After welcoming all the guests, Swara’s Director Ms. Shraddha Pandey introduced the works of Pinkish. At the same time, Ms. Rashika Bhasin gave the message of removing the misconceptions related to menstruation through beautiful Kathak dance. The chief guest of the program, Mrs. Suman Keshari, said in her presidential speech that today for the first time, I felt happy after hearing a poetry recitation on such a topic. It was challenging, but everyone’s poems were very captivating. Special guests Dr. Alpana Suhasini and Dr. Manju Man also recited poems, giving their views on the works and programs of the organization. Pinkish Foundation General Secretary Ms. Shalini and Ms. Vandana Gupta appreciated the work of the Swara Manch team. He was also honored by giving him a trophy and pink corset.
To participate in the program, eminent poetesses from Delhi-NCR like Ms. Kamla Singh Zeenat, Ms. Tulika Seth, Ms. Sarita Gupta, Ms. Punita Singh, Ms. Aruna Rajput, Ms. Meena Singh ‘Meen’, Dr. Varsha Singh, Ms. Anu Singh, Ms. Sunita Rajeev, Ms. Kusum Lata ‘Kusum’, Ms. Meenakshi Bhasin etc. recited their wonderful compositions. All the poetesses were honored by giving them pink body clothes and certificates. On this occasion, Director of Swara Manch, Mrs. Shraddha Pandey called upon everyone to join the people in this campaign and bring awareness through literature. Associate Director Mrs. Indu Mishra conducted the stage efficiently and Associate Director Mrs. Taruna Pundir concluded the program by thanking everyone.
