New Delhi. Today, during the hearing on the petitions challenging the legality of the Places of Worship Act-1991, the Supreme Court clearly said that no new case related to temple-mosque will be registered till the next hearing. This order has been given to maintain stability and peace at the disputed religious places. Along with this, the Supreme Court has sought a reply from the Central Government. The bench said that the case is pending in the Supreme Court, hence new cases should not be filed. No effective or final order should be passed by the lower courts in the cases which are already registered. Till the next hearing of this case, orders of any kind of survey should not be given in the disputed premises.
