An internship program has been announced by the Government of India for the youth. Prime Minister Internship Scheme has been launched on Thursday, October 3, under which 1.25 lakh internships will be provided to the youth. The scheme has been announced in Budget 2024-25 for which a budget of Rs 800 crore has been allocated.
When can I register?
It has been told that youth interested in this program can apply from 12th to 25th October on the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) portal: pminternship.mca.gov.in. The selection process for this will run from 27th October to 7th November. The internship offer will run from 8th November to 15th November.
The age of the applicant should be between 21 to 24 years. Besides, he should also have High School or Higher Secondary certificate, ITI diploma, diploma degree like BA, BSc, BCom, BCA, or BBA. Selected applicants will be given financial assistance of Rs 5,000 per month, Rs 4,500 as government assistance and Rs 500 as CSR funds.
