Prime Minister Internship Scheme has been announced to empower the youth in India. It has been told that the internship will be for one month in which the youth will also be given stipend. A budget of Rs 800 crore has been fixed by the government for this project. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has announced this scheme in the financial year 2024-25.
Which students will get this service?
Let us tell you that the benefit of this service is that candidates who have passed examination from high school, higher secondary school, have ITI certificate, have diploma from polytechnic institute, or have degrees like BA, B.Sc., B.Com, BCA, BBA, B.Pharma. Graduates will benefit from this program. The selected youth will get the opportunity to train in 500 top companies.
In this, a stipend of Rs 5,000 will also be given to the youth. In this, students can register themselves between 12th to 25th October. Candidates will be selected from 27 October to 7 November. Candidates will be given time from 8 to 15 November to accept the internship offer.
