New Delhi. The trends of Haryana Assembly Elections 2024 seem to prove the exit poll results wrong. Till the time of writing the news, BJP was seen crossing the majority mark of 46 in Haryana. At the same time, till morning, there was a swing in the trend in favor of Congress which had got an overwhelming majority. However, it will be clear only in the afternoon whether BJP succeeds in forming the government in Haryana for the third consecutive time or not, but amidst all this, it is also worth noting that Rahul Gandhi had put all his strength in the election campaign in favor of Congress in Haryana. At the same time, on behalf of BJP, PM Narendra Modi had gone to very few places and sought votes from the people of Haryana.

In Haryana, Rahul Gandhi organized 9 programs while campaigning in favor of Congress. These include his travels and public meetings. Rahul Gandhi’s first public meeting was held on 26 September in Assandh in Karnal district of Haryana. On September 26 itself, Rahul Gandhi had held a rally in Barwala, Hisar. After this, Rahul Gandhi also started Haryana Vijay Sankalp Yatra with sister Priyanka Gandhi from 30 September. To start the yatra, Rahul Gandhi held a public meeting in Ambala district of Haryana. After this he also held a public meeting in Thanesar, Kurukshetra. Rahul Gandhi held a rally in Gohana, Sonipat on 1 October. Then on October 3, Rahul Gandhi held a public meeting in Nuh and again on October 3 in Mahendragarh, Haryana.

In sharp contrast to Rahul Gandhi’s vigorous campaign in the Haryana Assembly, PM Narendra Modi surprisingly campaigned at very few places. Modi held his first public meeting on September 14 in Kurukshetra, Haryana. After this, Modi went to Sonipat on 25 September and held a rally there. On 26 September, Modi spoke to BJP workers from Haryana and then held a public meeting in Hisar on 28 October. PM Modi’s last campaign in Haryana took place on October 1. That day Modi had held a public meeting in Palwal.
