The winter session of Parliament has started from today. This winter session of Parliament is going to continue till December 20. During this time, Modi government is going to bring Waqf Amendment Bill, One Nation One Election Bill and other bills. The opposition has already expressed its objection against the Waqf Amendment Bill and One Nation One Election Bill. Jagdambika Pal, Chairman of the Joint Committee of Parliament or JPC formed on the Waqf Amendment Bill, had said that the report would be given on her behalf at the beginning of the Parliament session itself. At the same time, opposition parties had demanded further extension of the JPC deadline. At the same time, the committee formed under the chairmanship of former President Ramnath Kovind had submitted its report on One Nation One Election. After which the Modi cabinet also passed a resolution in its favor.

Like every time in the winter session of Parliament, the opposition has demanded discussion on the issues of Adani and Manipur. The opposition also wants discussion on the violence that took place in Sambhal. In such a situation, there are full chances of continuous uproar in the Parliament and adjournment of proceedings. It is believed that in view of this, the opposition MPs who created ruckus on behalf of PM Modi were targeted. Now it remains to be seen how many days the winter session of Parliament continues without uproar and how the Modi government gets important bills like Waqf and One Nation One Election passed.
