New Delhi. PM Narendra Modi has once again given the message of peace to the world by taking the name of Lord Buddha. Addressing the program held in Delhi on Thursday on International Abhidhamma Day, PM Modi said that he is saying with confidence that the world will find solution to its disputes not through war but through Buddha. On this occasion, Modi appealed to all the countries of the world to learn from the teachings of Lord Buddha, end war and pave the way for peace. Modi said that the reason for this is that Lord Buddha had said that there can be no happiness greater than peace.

This is not the first time that PM Modi has appealed to the world for peace. As part of the initiative to end the war between Russia and Ukraine, in his two meetings with Russian President Vladimir Putin, he advised him to follow the path of Buddha and resolve the matter peacefully. PM Modi had recently gone to Moscow to stop the war between Russia and Ukraine. After returning from there, Modi also went to Ukraine’s capital Kiev and met President Volodymyr Zelinsky. Even during his visit to Ukraine, PM Modi had advised to end the dispute through peace.

The message of peace that PM Modi gave to the countries of the world today by taking the name of Lord Buddha also has meaning for India’s old enemy China. China tried to occupy Indian areas in eastern Ladakh in 2020. Indian soldiers killed more than 40 Chinese soldiers who had entered the Galwan Valley in eastern Ladakh with the intention of occupying it. In this conflict, India’s Colonel B. 20 soldiers including Santosh Babu were also martyred. Since then there is tremendous tension between India and China. Indian and Chinese armies are deployed in eastern Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Arunachal Pradesh.
