Prayagraj. PM Narendra Modi reached Prayagraj Mahakumbh and bathed at the holy confluence. He also worshiped Maa Ganga here. PM Modi reached Prayagraj by special aircraft of Air Force from Delhi. He reached DPS Helipad via helicopter. From there, Heal went to the ghat. From Arel Ghat, PM Modi rode the boat and completed the journey to the holy confluence. PM Modi was also accompanied by UP CM Yogi Adityanath. Modi also inaugurated the arrangements of Mahakumbh in Prayagraj. Before his bath, all the big and famous people have reached Prayagraj and took a dip in the confluence. According to the information, on February 10, President Draupadi Murmu will also reach Prayagraj Mahakumbh site and take a bath.

Naresh Jigme Kesar Namgyal Wangchuk of Bhutan reached Prayagraj on Tuesday and took a holy bath at Sangam. On 1 February, an 118 -member delegation from 77 countries took a holy dip in Mahakumbh. On 1 February, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar took a bath in the Sangam. Whereas, on 27 January, Union Home Minister Amit Shah took a bath with family members and took a bath. Mahakumbh started on 13 January. The bath of Mahakumbh will run in Prayagraj till 26 February. Mahakumbh occurs after 144 years. Every time Mahakumbh happens in Prayagraj. It is believed that bathing in Mahakumbh gives salvation and sins are washed away.
Bhutan King Jigme Kesar Namgyal Wangchuk also reached Prayagraj and bathed in Mahakumbh.
More than 38 crore devotees have taken bath in the Mahakumbh in Prayagraj so far. The UP government believes that 45 crore devotees will take a dip here by 26 February. The next Amrit bath (royal bath) in Mahakumbh is to be held on February 12 and the last Amrit bath on the festival of Mahashivaratri on 26 February. This will be followed by the conclusion of Mahakumbh. Apart from Mahakumbh, there is Ardh Kumbh every 6 years and Purna Kumbh at 12 years. Apart from Ardh Kumbh and Purnakumbh Prayagraj, there is also in Haridwar, Ujjain and Nashik.
